Each votive is a scented, 2 ounce, coconut wax blend candle with an estimated burn time of 12 hours. 

The term votive means "dedicated or performed in fulfillment of a vow." Votive candles are often lit for positive intentions. To "light a candle for someone" shows one's intention to say a prayer for another person, and the candle symbolizes that prayer. Votives are also lit for inspiration.
