Slowly and naturally leavened with einkorn sourdough started, jovial Sourdough Sea Salt Crackers are made in a 24 hour process without commercial yeast or chemical leavening agents. We've combined a true sourdough process with einkorn, nature's original wheat, to yield the most delicious, nutritious, and digestible wheat cracker available. Einkorn is genetically pure and just as nature intended, so snack away!
We've partnered with a small-scale, experienced, family-owned artisan bakery in Italy to hand-craft our delicious sourdough einkorn crackers. They have been baking bread for more than 50 years and believe in the benefits of preparing food the way our ancestors did. It takes almost 24 hours to prepare one batch of crackers, but these artisan bakers truly understand the benefits of this hands-on baking process and are proud of the end results.
